Elly Strigner is an artist whose work focuses on illustration, animation and storytelling. She is especially interested in listening to and finding exciting ways of telling other people’s stories. Her illustrations and stories have been published by Cracked Eye, Wrap magazine, and Mardi Books. She regularly devises and runs illustration, book making and animation workshops for museums, festivals and galleries; including WOMAD, End of the Road festival, the National Portrait Gallery, the British Museum, Ruthin Craft Centre and Oriel Mostyn in North Wales. She has worked as an artist in residence in a care home, curated exhibitions and showreels for events, and created animated visuals for collaborative performances at Blinc Digital Arts Festival in North Wales and Sensoria Festival in Sheffield. She is originally from North Wales and currently lives and works in London.
