Stella Koleszár graduated in 2016 from the Department of Drawing and Art History, Faculty of Fine Arts, Szeged, and in 2019 from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Faculty of Glass Design. The main mediums of her creative work are glass and paper-based works, which are based on the instinct of drawing. In her glass works, she deals with themes such as allegorical formulations of sin and the fall into sin, as well as symbolic content related to myths and fairy tales, which range from the personal to universal stories. In her collages, she is interested in the happenings of the plant world and the human-centred perception of weeds. In 2020, she was a resident of Salzburg as part of the Budapest Gallery's artist exchange program. In 2022, she had a solo exhibition entitled Misdeed at Horizont Gallery. Her exhibition Born of Slime and decay with her artist and fellow artist Eszter Metzing was presented at ISBN book+gallery. In 2023, she received the Young Talent of the Year Award from Elle Deco EDIDA Hungary. Besides her individual art practice, she is involved in community projects in the street art genre under the name Muralinas.
