Kitti Gosztola creates research-based, installation-based works that focus on the political, aesthetic and social dimensions of the natural sciences. Her medially diverse work ranges from experimentation with material specificities, through archival research, to socio-politically focused collaborations.
She had solo exhibitions at Kisterem Gallery in 2024 and 2019 and at the St. Stephen King Museum in Székesfehérvár in 2018. Her work has been included in group exhibitions at the Germanische Nationalmuseum Nuremberg, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, the Hungarian National Gallery in Budapest, the Ludwig Museum - Museum of Contemporary Art and Trafó Gallery.
Kitti has participated in residencies at Q21 in Vienna, the Budapest Gallery Art Exchange in Salzburg, The Morning Boat in Jersey and the Kamov Residency in Rijeka.
Her work has been awarded the Smohay Prize and the Klára Herczeg Prize.
