I live in Budapest, I work in various musical formations as a drummer and violist. For the last 15 years I have been working mainly in free improvisation and various experimental music projects. It's not typical to define my works in terms of genre, but they are heavily fed by various folk music, contemporary electronic music, free jazz, metal. I also create music for contemporary dance pieces and occasionally perform in them. Apart from music, my years of study in Cultural Anthropology have greatly influenced my vision. As a drummer and performer, I am most interested in free music that transcends genres and forms, drawing exclusively from the given situation. In addition, I am interested in the encounter of different improvisational techniques and forms that appear in different ways in folk, experimental and free music spaces.
