As we are getting into the season of darkness and shorter days, close to Halloween, we are holding the aqb Open House autumn event on the last Saturday of October in the spirit of EMO. EMO is about honesty, sentimentality and intimacy, and EMO is also a parody of all of these. The question is whether honesty, sentimentality and intimacy can exist today. Is there something of laughter or irony in the performance of sadness and gruesome emotions? The aqb's studios, exhibitions, music and performance programmes give experiences and generate emotions, which are then explored. So join us in losing and finding balance!
