You are cordially invited to a public presentation by Áron Lődi. He’ll give introduce his research about metallurgy and the cross-contamination of socio-political mechanisms, policies and temporalities on the east-west axis of Europe.
Áron Lődi is a graphic designer and visual artist based between Budapest, The Hague, and Amsterdam. In his work, he reflects on socio-political, cultural, and economic issues. He attempts to forge and find new ways to get around the collapsing ideological and political landscape through design, writing and multi-media installations. Trapped between myriads of realities of the east-west axis, his work explores the in-between realm of facts and fantasies.
Áron is currently part of a MFA programme, The Dirty Art Department at Sandberg Instituut, Amsterdam. He is a founding member of the U&K Magazine publishing project and one half of the artist duo Alagya. He initiated a para-academic programme in Amsterdam, titled Contaminating The Soil That Nurtures Greed. His works have been presented by Jedna Dva Tri Gallery, Prague (CZ), OT301, Amsterdam (NL), Vunu Gallery, Kosice (SK), Ultrastudio Gallery, Pescara (IT) and U500 Festival, Budapest (HU).
