The Manzárd Workshop was created in 2021 as a child of the Manzárd Café blog. The founders of the blog are designers Tibor Gerlai, László Gyarmati (†) and Balázs Antal. The workshop is run by Balázs Antal and Tibor Gerlai. The primary aim of the workshop is to promote ceramic art through courses and programmes for people who are open to it. It also plays an important role in the development of the creative work of the two designers.

Their unique utilitarian objects are entirely handmade, with organic shapes and hand-painting, but they also experiment with different glazes, materials and shapes.
