Sina Niemeyer is a Berlin-based photographer and artist.

Her work is best known for her unique way of synthesizing different media and material such as photography, video, text, archive material and ephemera into expansive installations and small, carefully curated books.

Her projects mostly tackle stories of violence, loss and trauma, power structures and the unseen.In 2018 she was selected as one of the most promising newcomers in German photography. The year after she was nominated for the C/O Berlin Talent Award in two consecutive years. In 2020 she was invited to join FUTURES, a European photography platform for emerging artists.

Sina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. She regularly gives lectures on her work, teaches and completes assignments and research for international media and NGOs. Her work is part of several private collections and the Foundation of German Sparkasse Lüneburg.
