Kristýna Gajdošová is an artist and curator. Her work focuses on the rave phenomenon and its implementation within the art world — two discourses that influence one another. Centered on the significance of resignation and depoliticization within the political act of rave, it examines social perceptions that move across and extend beyond these cultures, shaped by stereotypes of idealization or condemnation. Through fragments of rave aesthetics, it seeks possibilities for subversion within the collectivity.
Kristýna is a member of the Lilky_60200 collective and a co-founder of the curatorial collective and Gallery Cejla in Brno. From 2019 to 2023, she was engaged as a co-curator of the Umakart Gallery. She is a doctoral student in the Audiovisual Cabinet at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno.
