Karoline Pöhn (*1987, Schärding, Austria) is a textile artist. She studied Fashion & Technology (BA) and textile.arts.design (MA) at the University of Arts, Linz, Austria. In 2020 she received the Austrian Fashion Association Start Grant and was awarded with the FORUM Alumni Grant in 2025.

Her practice unfolds between textile, body, and social space, exploring sensitivity, resilience, and the cultural systems that shape our coexistence. Her main focus are textile practices and female-connoted knowledge, which she uses both as medium and metaphor. With vestimentary artefacts, overproduction, and marginalized materials, she opens up spaces for transformation and reveals how social grids define what is considered valuable – and how much potential is lost through exclusion. Pöhn's works combine criticism with poetic gesture and can be understood as a self-empowered appropriation of these in-betweens as places of self-understanding, resonance, and identity and to foster an alternative, softer and more open togetherness.

During her residency at aqb, she continues to develop her artistic practice, building on her work ‚NOBODY EXHIBITS‘ and conducting research on local textile culture. The residency is supported by OÖ AIR.GOV / OÖLKG, and the Austrian Cultural Forum Budapest/Osztrák Kulturális Fórum.
