Giulia Menegale

Giulia Menegale is an independent curator, researcher, and writer based in Venice. She holds an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London, and participated in the professional curatorial program CuratorLab (2022–23) at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. She has collaborated as a curator and researcher with Casco Art Institute: Working for the Commons, Utrecht, the Netherlands; Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Autostrada Biennale, Kosovo; Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Turin, Italy; Platea, Lodi, Italy; and Škuc Gallery, Ljubljana, Slovenia. She contributes to Flash Art, Contemporary&, and Arts of the Working Class. She is completing a PhD in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at the IMT School for Advanced Studies, in which she investigates the legacy of institutional critique in contemporary art practices and curating.
