Elisabeth Kuklenyik is a Chigao based artist who graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and works as a comics artist, illustrator and educator. She focuses on narrative visualizations in her artistic practice, where she describes her creative inspirations to be “witchy old ladies and the personal mythologies we create”. With Eastern European roots and American upbringing, the artist deals with the struggles of duality of identity, making her residence in Budapest essential for this exploration.
