In theatre I am interested in a sincere tone. Speaking rather than acting, the ability to make the audience forget the artificial environment and live the present time. Children audiences cannot be tricked, they will not believe half-truths and need no elaborate theatricality, but they will demand sincerity from theatre creators. It would be nice if adults could speak to each other like this: without masks and pretending.
