Patrícia Harsány is a contemporary jewelry designer and multidisciplinary artist who graduated from MOME with Jewelry Design. Her creative medium extends to jewelry, critical design, and conceptual art practices, with a particular focus on the changes in everyday objects in different contexts. In her work, she explores the relationship between the body and objects, with a particular emphasis on the constant change in the cultural and historical meaning of wearable objects. Her approach emphasizes abstraction from function and the tension between objects with contradictory meanings. The use of alternative materials plays an essential role in her work, particularly following her experience at the Basque Biodesign Center (ES) in 2023, where she began experimenting with biomaterials. This opened up new perspectives in sustainable and innovative material use, which, when combined with traditional techniques, challenges the hierarchy between value and material. Her works have been featured in numerous international exhibitions and events, such as the Ludwig Museum (HU, 2024), the Kiscelli Museum (HU, 2021), the Radiant Pavilion and Platform Art Gallery (AU, 2023), Melting Point (ES, 2023), and Slovenian Jewelry Week (SLO, 2026). She participated in residency programs such as the Milan Fashion Residency (Visegrad Fund - IT, 2024), the SITU Residency (IT, 2024), and the Xarkis Residency (CY, 2023).
