As a contemporary jewellery designer, I primarily explore the boundaries of jewellery, focusing on the relationship between the human body and the man-made object.
I work with materials that are considered unusual in the basic genre of jewellery and question the concept of value; objects of use, everyday objects.
By reinterpreting the function of the objects around us, I try to find new roles for them by composing them into a kind of system.
In my current research I am looking for a personal path between art and design; my work is best understood in the context of conceptual art and critical design.
