7:30 PM – BULGHUR live (László Győrffy, Csaba Kis Róka, Márió Z. Nemes + ingatlan) | aqb Foyer
BULGHUR is the elusive and hybrid sound of Budapest Horror. Within its psychedelic DIY noise therapy, Nietzschean punk coexists with post-apocalyptic funk and bourgeois black metal. The project was conceived in the depths of Cluj in the spring of 2016, amid the intoxicating atmosphere of Vitális agónia, and first emerged publicly in February 2018 as the closing act of the exhibition Futurum Perfectum.
Like the amorphous tentacular system of Budapest Horror itself, BULGHUR remains a fluid organism. Alongside its core members, it regularly incorporates temporary collaborators, absorbing them into its structure for darker purposes.
Every BULGHUR performance is a unique and unrepeatable event. In the aqb Foyer, the Budapest Horror Band resurfaces after a two-year hiatus from the depths of the Body Farm graveyard to perform a work of mourning over the ruins of humanism.
