Panel discussion about TECHNO in the framework and also in the space of the Techno Worlds exhibition. In the panel, you will hear Kristoffer Cornils, music journalist arriving from Berlin who is running podcasts of GROOVE Magazin and Krisztián Puskár, Budapest-based promoter, event organizer at UH Fest and Küss Mich, who is also a DJ under the moniker of Splatter.
They will dive deep into the topics of Berlin's dominance over the European scene, focusing on the musical changes, the economic aspects, the club closings, and the growing professionalization of the scene. Why free tekno as a movement that shapes Eastern European techno spirit and practice after the fall of Socialism is a reviving idea in times of covid closures. Essentially we can expect some myth-busting revelations about Techno as an institution, lifestyle, marketing, economy and politics.
The event is free of charge.
