Rachael Wellisch is an artist, researcher and tutor, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from Griffith University and Queensland College of Art. In her artistic practice, Rachel focuses on using a natural indigo dye, textiles, installation and performance to explore issues regarding environmental concerns. Through her academic excellence and art residencies such as in Shankill Castle, Ireland, House Conspiracy in Brisbane, Australia and finally at Art Quarter Budapest, she explores the various art media to discuss her chosen topics in response to environmental concerns.
