Tímea Piróth (1991) is a visual artist living and working in Budapest. In 2015, she graduated from the painting department of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. Her work is based on the visual analysis of the abject. Abject in critical theory refers to rejection and separation from norms and rules, especially at the level of society and morality.
Showing the doubt and visceral feeling caused by encountering disgust or disorder is the main inspiration of her work.
